Our Story

Hi, I'm Frida, founder of ANIKÏ.

2,5 years ago, my family and I made the biggest decision of our lives. We left Sweden behind and moved to Australia. We had three suitcases, a dream, and a belief that life could be something different.

We didn't have a clear plan. We didn't know exactly where we would live or what the future would look like. What we did know was that we wanted a new adventure, new memories, new friendships, and a lifestyle that felt more aligned with the life we dreamed of creating.

If I'm honest, the first year was hard.

Leaving family, friends, familiarity, and everything you've ever known behind is never easy. Starting over in a new country at 40 years old meant learning a new culture, building a new community, and finding my place all over again.

There were moments of doubt, loneliness, and uncertainty.

But I've learned that life becomes what you make it. Your mindset determines whether challenges become roadblocks or opportunities. Every step forward starts with the decision to keep going.

ANIKÏ was born from that mindset.

In the beginning i spent countless hours walking, training, and living in activewear. With my husband often working away for weeks at a time, my daughter (3 at the time) and I were constantly on the move to make time go. Activewear wasn't just workout clothing—it became my everyday uniform.

I struggled to find brands that felt like me.

Everything seemed designed for someone younger or someone older. Nothing reflected the woman I am: active, confident, ambitious, and unwilling to compromise on personal style.

That's when the idea for ANIKÏ was born.

I wanted to create a gym to street brand for women who live full lives. Women who move between workouts, school runs, meetings, coffee dates, adventures, and everything in between. Women who want performance, comfort, and style without complicating it.

ANIKÏ is built for women who aren't ready to settle for anything less than feeling amazing.
